NEW INVESTOR ALERT 36: Tonight's terms are "open interest" and "implied volume" both of these are terms I have tought in the past. They are both terms to do with options! "Open Interest" is found in the option chain and shows you how many contracts have been purchased by traders amd are currently still open. So you can see where everyone is putting their money at. "Implied Volume" is how much the option is expected to move in the future before it expires. Now if wether it moves in a positive direction or a negative direction is dependant on what the stock price does. So say you have a call option that has 257% implied volatility, this means the price is more volatile since it is closer to the money and is more likely to move in price rather than an option that is further away from the money or "strike price" closest to the current price. Feel free to ask questions if you have any and look at my previous posts for advice on how to handle these upcoming weeks! $Tesla Inc $Kartoon Studios Inc $State Street® SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust $Apple Inc $Nikola Corp $Workhorse Group $Remark Hldgs Inc $Boeing $Amazon Com $Sunworks
