Why was my ACH deposit rejected?
Your ACH deposit may be rejected for the following reasons:
- Invalid ABA code (routing number) or Swift code. Please link your bank again with the correct information.
- Your ACH link has expired. If you changed your bank account password, registered email, or other key information, the current ACH link will expire. In that case you must unlink your ACH and reverify your bank account.
- Our ACH failed to connect your bank account due to problematic connections to or from the bank. In this case, please unlink your bank account and relink it through the micro-deposit verification.
If you would like to know the specific reason for which your ACH deposit was rejected, please send us a screenshot of the problem via Help Center, and we will help you get to the bottom of it.
Why was my wire deposit returned?
The wire deposit may be returned for the following reasons:
- If you entered the information incorrectly or forgot to submit your Webull account number and your name in the "sender to receivers" section, your wire transfer will fail. A returned wire will NOT incur reversal fee from the clearing firm but other fees from your bank/intermediary bank are possible.
- Third-party wires. Please note that wire transfers must be initiated with a bank account. We do not accept any third party wires and all transactions must be under same owner. Third party wires will be rejected and returned. A returned wire may incur bank fees which will be borne by the remitter.
