美FDA批准辉瑞(PFE.US)/BioNTech(BNTX.US)新冠疫苗加强针用于12岁至15岁人群

智通财经APP获悉，当地时间周一，美国食品药品监督管理局(FDA)批准了辉瑞(PFE.US)和BioNTech(BNTX.US)疫苗加强针的接种人群范围进一步扩大至12岁至15岁人群，并将接种加强针期限从6个月缩短至5个月。另外，该机构还批准为免疫功能低下的5-11岁儿童注射第三针。

FDA生物制品评估和研究中心主任Peter Marks表示：“基于FDA对现有数据的评估，目前批准的疫苗加强针可能有助于提供更好的保护，以对抗Delta和Omicron变种。”

据统计，过去7天里，美国新冠病毒感染人数翻了一番，达到每日平均41.8万例。到目前为止，62%符合条件的美国人已完全接种疫苗，其中三分之一的人接种了加强针。
