Repeat these rules to yourself, do not chase a stock, entry point is most important. We never pay the ask. We always put in a limit order where we are comfortable buying the stock. We always use the 25% rule when making our first purchase. That allows us to average down three times. Use the average down rule, do not average down unless your stock is 10% off where you purchased. If you’re playing with options which are more dangerous do not average down too soon.
