$Kandi Technologies Group, Inc. The pricing relative to specs, build style/quality, and company not providing crash test data despite being asked by journalists -- does it somewhat remind anyone else of Kia from early/mid 2000s to 2013/15? Crash safety: The govt doesn't test vehicles before they go to market. Manufacturers are required to self-certify (worked out well for Boring, eh?) that their vehicles meet the safety standards.The NHTSA may test the vehicles at some point after they're already in the market. KNDI has done govt crash safety tests in China, which has different safety regulations, but won't release the info.
