$Eastman Kodak I remember how many people said that this was going to plummet after it’s first big day in eary August. I agreed and took a short position during Premarket hours after it had jumped from mid 2’s to $13 and appeared be heading downwards. I drove to work and checked my account when I arrived. That was the day I lost half of my portfolio and let me tell you- I will NEVER short another stock again. It wasn’t a small loss either. Im an honest person and while I took a small position in Kodak today, my intention is to keep you from doing what I did. The truth here is that this could go either way, but it is much better when you don’t risk money you don’t have because let me tell you from experience- a margin call can screw you within an hour. Had etrade waited 2 days to sell my shares, I would have made a lot of money. AND I have never told anyone about it- including my husband. I am just praying I will recover before he inquires about our stocks. Damn did that feel good to get off my chest!
