$Tesla Inc The biggest thing people are missing about battery day is the cost of the batteries dropping that would cause a lower sticker price. This stuff about a million mile battery and longer range is interesting but the big money and the smart money is most wanting to know about how this could bring the final sticker price of Tesla model 3 to close to the same range as a Nissan Altima That is a major obstacle to mass adoption. They are still expensive cars. The battery is the main cost of the car. So we need breakthroughs in being able to produce more of the batteries at a cheaper cost way more than mullion mile battery. So dont get stuck on this million mile battery and range obsession. If Tesla can manage to just produce more batteries at cheaper cost to get a model 3 the same price as Nissan Altima or close to it then its game over for legacy auto and that will make Tesla share price skyrocket. So that's the main thing for battery day basically.
